A Girl Can Never Have Too Many Shoes...

Sky high heels.  Love them.  The higher the better.  I’ve actually rejected many a cute pair of shoes because the heels weren’t high enough.  They are my drug of choice.  I’ve always loved shoes.  Even when I was very young, the age where any normal child would head to the toy department, I went straight for the shoes.  At some point, my love affair with shoes turned into an obsession with heels.

I don’t what it is.  I don’t know why when I approach the shoe department, I start to feel a rush of excitement and anticipation, or why no matter how many similar pairs I have, I can always justify buying just one more pair.  Is it the way they make your legs look miles longer and vastly more toned?  Is it how they can make any blah outfit girly and chic?  They way you always feel a little bit sassier wearing a great pair of heels?  Or is it just the mere perfection of a beautiful pair?  Who knows.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m a total flip flop girl, and a cute pair of flats will always catch my eye, but nothing, and I mean nothing, compares to fabulous pair of heels.

  2. I love heels, too. But I'm really a handbag girl. I love purses!

  4. Next time you're at Target, pick up a children's book called "Birdie's Big Girl Shoes". You, and Ella eventually, will LOVE it!!!!!!

  6. T- I'll have to pick that book up!

Sparky- It was a sad time. No heels. I had preeclampsia so not only could I not wear heels, I couldn't even wear regular flats. I could ONLY wear flip flops...real appropriate for court, huh? I only made it to 33 weeks so I didn't have as long a time. By the way, my feet grew while pregnant (which everyone told me would happen, but I didn't want to believe), and now most of my heels barely fit!!!! :(
