Dance & Gymnastics

Ella started up dance again...she's doing ballet and jazz this year.  Her ballet class is essentially a private lesson with her and two of her friends!

She also started back up with gymnastics, and they moved her up to level 2 (even though she's not ready for it!) so that she could be in the same class as her friends!  Which was essential because I can't pick her up on Wednesdays so I need the carpool help...and she loves it!

Mommy Son Date Night!

While Ella and Gary were at their Indian Princess kick-off event, Everett and I went to Star Wars night at the Angel game- it was so fun!!!  All the characters were there, right in front of Everett, and they gave away Storm Trooper rally monkeys!  Everett got one of the practice balls AND the angel girls threw him a plush ball too.  It was great!

Still Like Summer...

Even after school started, we were able to squeeze in a few more summer-like playdates!

First Day of School

I'm so late!  The first day of school was August 29, 2016- so early, and summer went way to fast!  I was not prepared at all!  There were no tears by either kid!

Ella started first grade (her 3rd year at her elementary school)...

Everett started his first day of TK at elementary school!  Unfortunately, it isn't the same school as Ella :( since they took TK out of our school.

La Quinta

We had one final hurrah before school starts at La Quinta Resort...we go so lucky because it was pretty cool for Palm Springs in August!

These two hooligans got escorted back to our rooms by a cop after riding their scooters to the front of the resort and running up and down the the waterfalls and rocks.  Mortifying!

Summer- Part 3

VBS & Golf Camp!

For the first year ever, both kids were in the same camp two times!

VBS was Ella's favorite camp last year, and both kids loved it this year!

Ella had her first sleepover at Burklee's the week of VBS!

And Everett had breakfast and hitched a ride with Sammy that morning...

Then the kids both did golf camp!
