I think I may start using photo editing techniques for my Etsy photos just for fun...
Here is new style (3/4 elastic sleeves) and fabric...

E&E
Ella
Found a full bottle of cinnamon and did this while I was feeding Everett (yes, I gave in and bought her Tinkerbelle pjs)...

Her reasoning? She wanted "cinnamon on her banana" for breakfast. By the way, when I caught her, she was still scooping up handfuls of cinnamon off the table and putting it on her fully cinnamon-covered banana.
This was before she found a tube of vaseline (which she thought was sunscreen) and rubbed it all over her cheeks so that her "cheeks don't get burned" (direct quote). I can't get mad at her because I can't stop laughing!
Everett
Recently found his feet and is always grabbing them. Learned how to roll over both ways...and over and over and over and over...which means he is now sleeping on his stomach.
Had his first Tiny Tots playgroup today (of which I am the organizer), but it turned out to be mostly older kids (13 months to 2.5 years) so once again, Ella will be making even MORE friends and Everett will still have only two! At least I tried. ;)

New Fabrics!
I just purchased some adorable new fabrics! I can't wait to start sewing. I'm thinking they will look so cute in this style (or really any of the styles!)...
I like this one alone...
Or with this as a contrast...
This one alone...
This one alone...
And then these three alone or mix and match...

If anyone wants to pre-order before I list them on etsy, let me know!

The Haps...
Pregnancy
We had our anatomy scan today (I'm 18w4d). Everything looks great. Still a boy (to Gary's utter delight). They couldn't get a great view of the small little heart so we have to have a full cardio something or other next time to make sure there are no holes in the heart or anything. Baby weighs 9 oz.
I swelled up yesterday and got really dizzy (although, I was in Menifee at inspections- hot!), which the doctor was not happy about. We'll see how long she lets me work...
Daddy's Helper
Although I think we're starting to enter the terrible two's...you know, the dramatic cries anytime she doesn't get her way and sitting in the middle of the street because she's mad her friend is leaving...all of which JUST started this weekend, HOWEVER, she's still daddy's favorite little helper!
She really did help wash the car- it was great! No one ever told me about the extra benefits that come with having a child...she always gets the remote control for me when I'm too lazy to get off the couch, she throws my trash away for me, and now she washes cars?! She is well worth the thousands of dollars it took to have her! ;)~
Birthday
I'm well on my way to having E's party planned. I have purchased 518 balloons, bought the paper for various paper products I am going to make and finished making her invitations! I'll post photos after they are sent, but I really have to say that I think they turned out ADORABLE. I'm sooo happy with them! Now I need to make her dress, design my menu, design the layout for the party and food tables and make all the paper products.
Etsy
I've been sort of taking a break from Etsy since I had been feeling so awful, but for some reason, I received three orders in the last 2 days, including 2 dresses and 1 diaper cover!
I also recently made this dress as a "sample" because I am considering doing Ella's birthday dress in this style. It's supposed to be a 2T, but it's pretty big on Ella so I would say it's between a 2T and 3T. I'm not making these to sell, but if anyone wants to buy this one, it's $34 plus shipping. :)

Ella Hates the Pool
Our friends had a pool party/bbq this weekend, and despite the fact that all her friends were having a great time splashing around in the baby pool, Ella wanted none of it. What the heck happened since last summer when she loved the pool?! Looks like we have some unpleasant pool visits in our future.
I made a pattern for a baby maxi dress...they are so trendy for summer, why shouldn't the babes have one too? ;) This is the prototype so it may vary slightly when I make it for good (for example, I'm going to move the straps in more), but I think it's pretty cute!

Ella's First Virus/Fever?? (And Photo Drop)
First, I forgot to post some new photos of Ella wearing some of the goods...no new items, just some cute pics of E. :)

Second, I *think* Ella had her first virus...FINALLY! She was perfectly fine all week, and then Saturday morning, she felt a bit hot, and had a low grade fever. By 10 a.m., the readings were up to 106 degrees (but mostly in the 104's), so I rushed home from brunch and called the doctor. The doctor said not to worry because babies' immune systems do often give really high temps, even for simple colds, and we just needed to watch her behavior. We gave her some Motrin and cuddled with her (you know she doesn't feel well when she's super cuddly...she laid on my chest for 40 minutes!). The weird thing is, within about 6 hours, her temp was back to normal! She never had any other symptom. Strange. I'm still counting it as her first sickness since I really want her to get sick before preschool starts! I guess 19 months is pretty good for not being sick once. :)
Update: Ella's fever was completely gone Sunday morning, but it slowly crept back up to 104.1! We cannot seem to get it to go away. We're trying not to give her Mortin for a while so that maybe the fever will break, but I'm a little concerned about it getting too high since it's already at 104.1. She won't let us put a cold/room temp wash cloth on her face so we have one on her neck while she sleeps on Gary's chest. She feels just HORRIBLE! She keeps moaning and whimpering. :(
Update #2: Bottle at 7:30...vomited it all. Put her to bed around 8 p.m. About 9 p.m. she vomited all over herself and her crib. As we were changing the crib, she vomited again all over the floor. It's going to be a loooong night.

A New Design...the ROMPER/JUMPSUIT!
I have become obsessed with little rompers for Ella so I created a pattern (I've only done the 18-24 month size so far, but I'm going to do 6-12 months to 2 or 3T). I think it turned out so cute!

I made one more dress in an adorable fabric that I only had a bit of so if anyone is interested in this dress before I list it, I only have 2, and there won't be anymore...sizes 12-18 months and 18-24 months. I've also decided (I think!) to place the labels on the back of the dresses as shown in the 2nd photo. I tried it on the bottom front corner, and it didn't look right on some of the dresses.

New Dresses
Some new fabrics/styles I'm loving...

And this isn't a new fabric, but thanks to friends who have ordered different styles, I can show how this popular fabric looks in 3 different styles!
